Taar’s tips - Sundays

Still in Ibiza or thinking about a little trip to your favourite island, even in this bizarre covid world? Just do it! The weather is amazing- I never felt safer in Ibiza – the streets are calm and the restaurants are still open and have been following all the rules to keep all ages safe.  I love spending Autumn in Ibiza.  The calm vibes, beach picnics, outside lunches and long hikes.  The sun still shines most of the week and a quick dip in the ocean is still an option!  I mean do I need to say more?

Let me take you along one of my perfect free Sundays.

First stop, a little hike with my friends and all our dogs to the tower at Es Cavallet.  It’s like an hour and 30 minute walk from start to finish (for more details send me a dm).  Finish off the hike with a quick refreshing dip into the ocean as it’s still 22 degrees outside.

Second stop, a relaxing coffee at bar San Francisco.  A little cute Spanish café spot on the road back next to the church.  They also serve great lunches and fresh juices.

Quick shower at home and then off to the San Juan Sunday market.

Live music (without dancing, of course). #lame! Still Enjoying strolling around and finding treasures.

Follow this by an amazing lunch in the garden of the Giri Café (must try their chocolate mousse desert – simple and delicious!).  After a full tummy, time to head back home to prepare our cliff dinner picnic with friends.  My favourite spot since like ever, is a cliff in between Cala d’hort and Cala Carbo.

I used to go there as a kid and be a true camper with my family. Burning marshmallows until they are black and singing songs along with the radio. Ending the day with watching a beautiful sunset as the sun goes down on that side of the island in the months of November/December, thinking about next season and what life will bring.  It’s so weird and unpredictable right now but we are still enjoying life on the island – come and enjoy it with us. Don’t hesitate to ask and send questions – love to help.
