We love the Island, so sometimes we need to give some love back. I will highlight a few things we can do to make Ibiza an even better place. There’s enough to contribute to, so let’s do this together!
Beach Clean
After the high season, the beaches of Ibiza need some extra care. For that reason, I organized a Beach Clean Monday with my Taar Willoughby team and we spent a few hours on the beach to clean up all the trash. You’d be surprised of how much garbage you can find! The beaches can be full of plastic caps, cans, cigar stubs and even more… So let's keep the beaches clean together!
Shop local
Why would you get food from far away when you can also get it from a local nearby? Local products are super fresh and tasty! You also support the local economy. Good to know: Fewer transport kilometers are made when you buy your groceries locally, so it is also better for the environment! This island has a lot of local products to offer. There are several cute little shops on the road where you can buy your local food.
Animales Del Alma
Besides the beautiful scenery, there is sadly enough a high amount of neglected animals on Ibiza. Animales Del Alma is the best rescue shelter for neglected and mistreated dogs. The puppies and dogs are well taken care of in this shelter. Animales Del Alma believes that all animals deserve compassion and protection. You can always donate food, money, blankets for the winter or adopt a dog!
